As part of Waterfield's social responsibility, we work with NGO's in their strategic planning on a regular basis.  For this event, we have nominated that the funds raised will go towards our continued strategic work with batyr, a for-purpose organisation that focuses on preventative education in the area of youth mental health. The organisation provides programs that train young people to speak about their personal experience with mental ill health and start a conversation in their community.

The Agenda

1 pm to 1.30 pm  

  • Welcome and introduction by Kevin Nuttall, one of Waterfield's key facilitators. With over 20 years’ experience, Kevin works with senior management teams to develop and implement organisational strategies and solve complex problems.
  • An introduction from sponsor charity, Batyr's Founder, Sam Refshauge. Sam will give an overview of the organisation and an understanding of how Waterfield's StrategyConnect program has helped them map out and achieve their strategic goals as a not-for-profit SME. 

1.30 pm to 4 pm

Be led through a fast-paced, facilitated workshop using Waterfield's unique methods to collaboratively drill into your current business situation. Using collaboration to uncover what your ideal outcomes are and what success looks like for your business.

What will be discussed:

  • An open discussion on your current business environment, external factors affecting your business.
  • Understanding what success looks like and discussing what needs to happen next to reach these goals. 
  • Drilling down on the milestones, are they achievable? What strategic investments must be made in order to achieve the milestones?

4 pm to 5 pm

Map it out on paper,  you will be guided through the process of creating your one-page strategy map. This strategy map will belong to you and your team to take away with you.
